Ever since Groundhog Day, when Phil saw his shadow, we've had nothing but snow! ❄️ 😩 Thanks Phil! Up until then our winter was more like spring. Now that it's snowy and cold we've definitely needed mittens. So, I created a tiny mitten box to "accept" the arrival of our winter weather. 😜
Remember I said I wasn't going to give up on the wildflowers in the February Paper Pumpkin? Glad I didn't! This small treat holder has just the right amount of flowers for me. Now it needs just the right amount of treats for the inside. 😉
The February Paper Pumpkin has some great pieces in the kit. I can't say it's one of my favorites which makes it challenging to make alternate projects. The wildflowers are a bit busy for my taste so I didn't use any on this bag, created with one of the cards. I'm not giving up on the wildflowers. I have an idea so visit again soon.
I created this simple little card with the Happiest Of Days stamp set. This flower is so sweet and was easy to color with my blender pen and stamp pad.
I have spring fever more than ever this year. It probably has to do with the unseasonably warm temperatures we've been experiencing. I created this daisy card, with fingers crossed, in hopes spring comes early. The products I used on this card were the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits, Softly Falling Embossing Folder, Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and Small Oval Punch.

Remember I said this little bag (stocking) could be used for Valentine's Day? Well, what do you think? The black and pink are great colors for a Valentine's treat, especially one with chocolate inside. 😋
This isn't a typical card, it's more of a notecard. After cutting the corner off one of the Paper Pumpkin cards, for my Happy Heart Gift Sack (previous post) I had an unusual piece remaining. Hmmm... what to do? I cut it down the fold, turned one of the pieces over and upside down then glued it to the other piece. This notecard is the my creation. Lucky me, it was useable! 👍 And quite adorable (I might add) after adding a few other pieces from the kit.
This little monster screams "Be Mine." His arms are wide open and ready for a big hug. He's perfect for Valentine's Day, and the chocolate heart is too. 💕
This treat is a 2 x 5 cello bag filled with Sixlets. After punching a heart in the bottom of a 2 x10 piece of white cardstock I folded it in half and slipped in down inside the bag. The bakers twine didn't keep it closed as well as I expected so I added the clip. The colorful banners bring it all together.
Valentine's Day is the perfect time for giving candy so why not customize the wrapping. I used Fresh Prints DSP to cover the candy bar then attached a couple of die cut hearts from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. The bow builder punch is one of my favorites, it gives dimension and cuteness to every project. Of course it needed a little sparkle for Valentine's Day. The little heart did that job.
I was excited when I found a package of Dove Truffles at Target that were individually wrapped. The red and gold foil was an added bonus. I had to have them because I knew it wouldn't take much to customize them. It didn't! I used stamps from the Heartfelt Love Notes on the tag but felt it needed a little something more so I added the gold bow.
