Piece of Carrot Cake

It's a piece of cake and a carrot too!  The Lifestyle Crafts dessert box die makes a perfect little treat to give with any birthday gift or as the gift itself.  The added bonus... if you think outside the box  (he,he) it looks like a carrot. Hmmm... now I wondering what else I can turn it into.  Don't you love the creative process?!

Easter Gift Card Holder

Sometimes its easier to give a gift card than buy a gift.  I know I like getting gift cards! :)  So I made an Easter gift card holder, with a sweet little chick on it.  I used the petite pocket die, bird builder punch and hearts a flutter framelits die.

Carrot Jar

I wasn't sure how I would use this mason jar when I purchased it, but I had to have it.  I wouldn't have guessed it would become a carrot, but it did!

Ears To You Envelope

Remember these envelopes from the Season of Sweets Designer Kit, in the Stampin' Up! holiday catalog?  Well, I altered mine so it could hold something wider than it was originally intended to hold.  Which is great, only I can't decide what "wide" thing to put inside. :) I scored 1/2 inch on both sides and across the bottom to make it wider. It's the same process as turning any regular envelope into a gift bag.

Petite Bunny Basket

The petite purse makes a sweet little bunny basket.  It won't hold many treats, but it's stinkin' cute! :)

Ears to You Candy

When I saw the Ears to You single stamp I knew it was a must have.  The bunnies with their cute little patterns are adorable.  The quickest and easiest way to use them was on a cello bag full of pastel M&Ms.

Easter Flower Card

A Reese's peanut butter egg makes the perfect center for a flower and it's yummy to eat too! :)

Sweet Baby Bitty Box

I have so many retired Stampin' Up! dies that I refuse to discard or forget about, and this is one of them.  It's from the Bitty Box and Envelope die and I still love it. For my box I wanted colors that weren't the typical baby colors, so I used the Sycamore Street DSP  and the Itty Bitty Banners Stamp set in the Sale-a-bration catalog for my inspiration.  I cut the center of the box with the smallest die from the windows frames collection and placed a piece of vellum behind it.  My butterfly was made with the beautiful wings embosslits. You always need ribbon, so a little bakers twine worked perfectly. My favorite trick is to use permanent colored markers on the pearl basic jewels, that's how I made the orange pearl in the middle of the butterfly.

For You Tootsie

I used the petite envelope die and the 3/4 circle punch to make this project.  Before I sealed the envelope I punched a hole on each end of the front cover. The tootsie roll is tucked through each hole. This puts a little twist on just placing the treat inside the envelope. :)

Owl Nugget Box

There is no denying I like containers, so it's no surprise I turned the owl punch into a little Hershey Nugget box.  I used the   1 3/4 scallop circle to create the wings and a 1 1/2 x 3 piece of cardstock to create the box. The cardstock is scored at 1" and 2" on the long side and in 3/8 on both sides, on the short side.

For You Envelope Pouch

A few different folds with an envelope from the Sealed with Love Simply Sent creates a pouch for a small treat.  The Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit was used to make the flower I attached on front.

Smarty Pants Birthday

Don't you think these little jeans are adorable?!  It's one of the stamps in the Patterned Occasion stamp set, which is FREE if you order $50 in Stampin' Up! merchandise.  Oh wait... so is the Sycamore Street designer paper and button I used on the card!
