Card Purse

I usually make small purses, but this time I made a purse large enough to hold several cards and envelopes.  To make the embellishment on the front I placed a large grommet over a snowflake then put a pearl in the middle.  This large purse is definitely more functional. However... the smaller ones are my preference.  They're so tiny and cute. :)

Snowman Kisses

I purchased this container at a local scrapbook store and it's perfect for holding larger treats.  I made the snowman with several punches and embellishments.  He's a cute little after Christmas gift! :)

Christmas Candy Jar

I absolutely love the look of these jars filled with various candies and used in your home decor. This is a small jar, it's practice for the bigger ones I want to make.  :)
Merry Christmas!

Christmas Top Note Purse

This little top not purse is great for holding gift cards and it's another quick and easy project for your Christmas gift giving. :)

From Santa Gift Bag

Two pieces of designer paper, a mini lunch sack and you have yourself a great little Christmas bag.  You simply glue one sheet of paper to each side of the lunch sack and punch out a handle using the small oval punch.  My bag measures 4 x 6, but you can make them in any size.  It's a great way to use all your Christmas designer paper.

Merry Christmas Tree Card

I really do make Christmas cards, not just 3D projects. :) Mine are always quick and simple and this is no exception.

Dec 14, 2011

Snowman Top Note Pouch

I embossed the top note die cut with the snowflake embossing folder then folded it in half to make this pouch.  You can glue the sides, but I liked the look of the twine holding it closed.  The snowman is made with several random pieces.  This close to Christmas, the quicker the project the better! :)

Snowman Sour Cream Container

I haven't made a sour cream container in a very long time.  They're quicker and easier than I remember.  If I received one of these I'd hate to open it, because I wouldn't want to ruin it. :)  Although, I'm that way with all the homemade items I receive.

Dear Santa Chocolate Bar

Forget cookies... Santa needs chocolate!  Santa is getting this on his cookie plate this year. :) It's a little bribe... :) It's a simple candy bar slider, but no matter how it's wrapped, chocolate is chocolate!

Snowflake Jar

This is one of the hardest projects I've done in a long time.  Sure it looks simple, but have you tried cutting detailed snowflakes out of vinyl?  It's not easy.... there are to many small pieces that need to be removed.  I'm happy with the results, but I'm not sure how soon I'll try the vinyl again. :)

Very Merry Ornament Nuggets

Here's a quick little gift for friends or co-workers.  I'm glad Stampin' Up! created the Hershey Nugget wrappers stamp sets, they make a little chocolate treat look great!

Christmas Cupcake

This little Christmas cupcake has a cello bag of holiday skittles inside. It's a sweet within a sweet. :)  The top of the cupcake is made with the petal cone die.  To make the bottom, I used a     2 x 6 piece of designer paper and scored it at 2 1/4 and 3 3/4.

Petite Santa Suit

I love receiving and giving gift cards.  The great thing about gift cards is you're guaranteed to get what you want and so is your recipient. :) This year my gift cards will be given in a little Santa suit, made quickly and easily with the petite pocket die.

Turkey Place Card

How about this colorful little guy for your place card?! :) He's made with the owl punch, scallop circle punch, oval punch, word window punch and top note die.

Nov 16, 2011

Snowflake Bitty Box

This fun little box is a good size for jewelry or candy.  It's made using the bitty box and envelope die, peekaboo frames die and northern frost sizzlit. This way they can peek in at the treat or gift without having to open it.  You know...this would be a great stocking stuffer. :)

Happy Thanksgiving Pouch

I'm lovin' the leaves.  I just realized I used them on several of my latest projects.  So once again,  I layered two of them on this little pouch.  It holds an individual package of Reeses pieces. I couldn't resist... the candy color and taste are perfect! :)

Scalloped Pumpkin Tote

We don't have to say good-bye to pumpkins just yet.  I think they're great for Fall and Thanksgiving... or am I pushing my luck? :)

Thankful For Card

It's during this time of year we reflect on things we're thankful for and I'm thankful for many!

Nov 2, 2011

Pumpkin Carton

I think the mini milk carton is adorable.  It makes me smile each time I create something with it and this pumpkin is no exception.  How about the leaves... I used the wing on the bird builder punch and then put it through the finial press embossing folder.  Don't you love it when you come up with an idea that works exactly the way you want it too?!

Candy Corn Cone

This little treat was created with the petal cone die cut and made to resemble a candy cornI'm not a fan of candy corns, but I do like how cute they look in home decor and holiday projects. :)

Scary Halloween Cookies

Nope, not a cupcake... just a cello bag of mini chocolate chip cookies. :)  Another yummy Halloween treat!

Oct 25, 2011

Spooky Flower Matchbox

I'm not sure a flower for Halloween makes a spooky statement, but in this case it makes a cute one!  :)  I did use the bat punch for the little pull to open the box, that's spooky, right? :)

Oct 22, 2011

Eek Gum

A stick of gum all glammed up. :)  I used the two tags die cut and It's a Wrap Holidays stamp set to create this Halloween treat. You can make lots of these with just a few packs of gum for co-workers, family or friends.

Happy Halloween Candy Card

This card was one of the projects we made at my Halloween class. The hardest part on this card was filling the small cello bag with the skittles.  :)

Oct 17, 2011

Spooky Hand Sanitizer

This little project was made with a Sizzix die cut called "Box, Favor."  I added the flat piece in back for the bat and spooky, then punched a circle out of the front so the sanitizer can be seen.  Now it makes a perfect little Halloween gift.  The hand sanitizer came from Bath and Body Works.  They have so many cute styles, it was hard to choose.

Witch Boot

Is this the cutest or what?!   This is the project I taught last night, in my card group.  You need two of the holiday stocking die cuts and two 3 1/2 inch circles with a 1 3/4 inch circle partially punched out of the top of each one. You'll need to position and glue the circle behind the toe of the stocking.  I suggest you put it through an embossing folder.  It helps make the glued pieces less noticeable.  The heel was created with the die cut piece used to cover the toe of the stocking.  For the candy, I created a small box, which is glued between the two pieces.  We mustn't forget the candy. :)

Halloween Tray

A simple white dish and rub-ons can create a fun piece for your Halloween dinner/buffet table.  I'm going to put a row of Oreo cookies, the ones with the orange filling, on this for our Halloween party. Yummy and cute!

Witch Sweet Treat

The "Wicked Cool" stamp set has turned out to be one of my favorites.  It's so versatile and easy to use. This is just another treat I made using the set. It's a mini Hershey candy bar. Yum!

Oct 8, 2011

Scalloped Halloween Tote

Scallop oval and scallop square.  Hmmm... too many scallops for a Halloween project? I really like it, so I guess it shouldn't matter. :)

Bat Embellishment Container

...still trying to use up the containers all the brads and buttons come in. :)  Geez... maybe I should quit buying so many.  I know... who am I kidding, like that will ever happen.  LOL

Eek Candy Card

I know... how can it be a candy card with no candy? I'm having a difficult time finding just the right Halloween candy this year.  And believe me, it's not from lack of trying.  Actually, I've found a few I like, but I put it in the treat cup and it just doesn't look the way I want it too.  No worries... I still have a few weeks. :)

Clear Halloween Pillow Box

Remember I told you I had a Halloween project made with the pillow box die cut, I purchased at the scrapbook expo?  We'll here it is...  You can find some adorable hand sanitizers with cute Halloween labels, but I wanted to stamp my own and I'm glad I did because it's the cutest! :)  You can't tell from the photo, but I left one of the top flaps up and punched a hole in it for the ribbon.

Spooky Bag In A Box

Not your typical Halloween colors, but this year I've seen some unusual Halloween color combinations in the department stores.  I figure... if you like it, do it! :)

Sep 26, 2011

Spooky Witch Hat

The petal cone die is the best!  I used it to create this witch hat and used the vanilla shimmer, smooch spritz to give it a little sparkle. I cut one side off, so it's only three sided then placed it on top of a large oval die cut.  Now I need to come up with a clever way to access the candy without destroying the hat. :) Hmmm...

Sep 23, 2011

Pumpkin Ornament

They have Christmas trees and now Halloween trees?!  I don't have one, but I think this would make a fun ornament for one.  It's made with the Stampin' Up! treat cups and "Jack of all trades" stamp set, which is the cutest set ever.  But remember...I love all things Halloween, so it's a given I'd love this set. :)

A Little Treat Tote

I thought I would use Fall colors considering it's almost here.  Then I realized they're actually more like Halloween colors. :)  I guess/hope this can be used for Fall or Halloween.  Fall is such a beautiful time of year, it's too bad winter has to be right on its tail.

Ever Grateful Pillow Box

I recently attended the scrapbook expo and purchased this pillow box die cut.  The thing I love about it, the bottom folds flat so it can stand!  I had so much fun using it I couldn't stop.  I made a Halloween project, which I'll be sharing in the next few weeks. :) Now I need to start thinking of a way to use it for Christmas! :)

Sep 14, 2011

Gratitude Nuggets

You know how I feel about Hershey Nuggets :)  ... so when "It's a wrap holidays" came out in the holiday mini catalog, I had to have it. This is going to be a fun set to use for each holiday.

Lady Bug Bag

A friend of mine sent me a card with this cute lady bug idea on it.  I liked it so much, I wanted to give it a try.  I made mine with the scallop circle punch then attached it to a large clothes pin.  Now it can be removed and used on other things.

Sep 7, 2011

"A Gift" Bag

This is made with the Stampin' Up, box #2 die cut.  I scored  an 11 x 3 inch piece of designer series paper at 4 1/2 and 6 1/2 to wrap around the box.  The stamp is from, "Lighthearted" which is in the new holiday mini catalog.  Give it a try... it's a fun quick project. :)

Pumpkin Mini Milk Carton

Remember the altered mini milk carton?  Here's another version... it's a pumpkin!  I know... September just got here, but I can't help myself. :)  I love making Halloween projects! This little cutie holds just the right amount of Halloween candy.  Hmmm... is there a right amount? :)

Butterfly Gift Box

This box is intended for a gift card, but chocolate is great too.  You know... you can probably fit both inside.  Wouldn't that make a great gift?! :)

School Days Card

Summer is winding down and school is starting again.  Where does the time go?

Aug 24, 2011

Altered Mini Milk Carton

Another great idea from Stampin' Up!  You'll need two mini milk carton die cut pieces to make this adorable box.  The milk carton has four sides and you only need three, so cut one side off on each die cut (the side without the tab).  Score, fold and glue the two die cuts together.  Be sure to use a strong glue.  It's a little tricky folding the top down, but it's well worth the effort.

Merry Tote

Christmas?  Let me explain...  I was looking through my MANY papers and found a package of adorable Christmas paper. I know I purchased it at a scrapbook expo, but I'm not sure how long ago.  I fell in love with it all over again, so I immediately stopped what I was doing and made this tote. Now I'm excited to make more Christmas projects!  Ok... from now on, I'll try to keep with the current holiday. :)  If I don't, remember I said "try."  LOL

Thanks So Much Card

I gave this as a thank you card for placing an order with me.  I like the colors and simplicity of it.  I hope they did too. :)

Aug 13, 2011

Hershey Nugget Covers

Let's hear it for Hershey Nuggets!!!  They are the easiest, and cutest candy to cover.  There are so many ways to incorporate them into our projects. And let's face it... everyone loves to eat them. :)

Aug 10, 2011

Icecream Card

Icecream!!! This sweet little treat was made with the large oval punch, word window punch and scallop oval punch.  Luckily, the hot weather can't melt this icecream. :)

Baby Bag

I didn't realize how cute teal, black and yellow look together until I added the black ribbon.  It's not your "normal" baby colors, but it's still darn cute! :)
