Friends Card

The story behind this card...  I went to a Stampin' Up! meeting at my Manager's house.  Our meeting began with discussing all the business stuff, then the best part...stamping.  She had this card for us to make, however, I didn't get it finished that night so I brought home all the pieces thinking I would put it together later.  Well, when later came I couldn't remember what the original card looked like.  So with my additions and subtractions this is what I came up with.  I'm pleased!

Petal Card Mellow Moss Tote

Ok... here's the second tote I made with the Petal Card, bigz die.  This tote I did a little different.  I cut the rounded part off three sides of each petal card.  I used the part I cut off to put on the front of the tote.  It does make the tote thinner which means not as much room for filling. This one also has a fun little handle.  You have to try this tote it's fun and easy to make.

Petal Card Blue Tote

I'm so sad they are discontinuing the Petal Card, bigz die.  I used two of them to make this little tote. I glued 3 sides of each petal card together and left the fourth side of each one up, for the handle.  The flower off to the side was my version of a flower I saw in Stampin Success.  It didn't come out nearly as nice as the version I saw.  I'm just happy it resembles a flower. :)  To make it, I took two 1" strips of 12" paper and punched down the edge of each one with the eyelet border.  I put them through the crimper and wrapped them one at a time onto sticky paper.  When I finished, some of the white sticky paper was showing through so I sprinkled blue glitter to cover it.   Not so sure I'd try this flower again... :)  I did try the tote again, you'll see it soon.

Father's Day Card

Father's Day is tomorrow and I'm just now making a card...  Masculine cards are not a favorite of mine.  I really struggle with them and I don't have many masculine stamps.  I'm always happy with the outcome but not always excited about making it.  I'll have to practice more with "masculine", which probably means more stamps (darn.)  I hate when I have to get more stamps. LOL :)

Flower Gift Card Holder

These flowers are so much fun to make.  They take a little time but they're worth it.  This one is made with the Island Floral bigz die, from the summer mini catalog and from what I've heard, this die is going to be in the new 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! catalog.  How exciting!

Owl Gift Set

"Owlways" trying to come up with something fun (he, he.)  Only a little stamping on the tag, the rest is rub-ons and patterned paper.  I've noticed owls seem to be very popular right now and peanut butter cups are "owlways" popular.  (Ok... enough with the play on words)  I made this with a tomato paste can, it's the perfect size for my little gift.  Can't wait to give it away.  LOL

Celebrate Matchbox

A matchbox full of jelly beans... now that's a celebration!  I know I should be telling you about the matchbox but the jelly beans are soooo yummy!  They are Starburst, Red Fruits.  I'm not a jelly bean fan but, these are de-lish!!  Anyway, I think the matchbox is self explanatory.  No tips or tricks on this, just another tasty treat in another fun container. :)

Love You Much Card

Ok, I really like this swirls and scribbles sizzlit.  It's the funnest...  Although anytime I use my bigshot it's the funnest!  The flower paper is something I picked up for a great deal at the scrapbook expo.  The heart is a left over from another project.  I used the scalloped heart of hearts embosslits die and kept the piece that was left after the heart was used.  I just trimmed it to this square shape and placed a white piece of paper behind it.  The "love you much" stamp fit perfectly inside.
